How does the QR checkout work?+
Each artwork gets a unique QR code. At your event, collectors scan the code with their phone, see high-res images and pricing, and complete checkout in under 60 seconds. Payment is processed by Stripe and goes directly to your account.
Does Atelier.Gallery charge transaction fees?+
Yes. Atelier.Gallery charges a 1.3% platform transaction fee on completed sales, and Stripe also charges its standard processing fee. The platform fee is deducted from the artist payout while payments still flow to your connected Stripe account.
Do I need my own Stripe account?+
Yes, and this is intentional. You own your payment relationship with collectors. You control your Stripe account and customer data. Atelier.Gallery only connects to your account to process payments—we never access your payment data.
What happens if two collectors buy the same artwork?+
Each artwork is automatically locked when a purchase begins. If two people try to buy the same piece simultaneously, the second transaction is declined with a message that the artwork is no longer available. This prevents accidental double-sales.
Can I sell unlimited artworks on the free plan?+
The free plan includes 1 artwork listing. The Pro plan ($19/month) includes unlimited artwork listings, Show Mode, and real-time analytics.
What is Show Mode?+
Show Mode is a full-screen selling dashboard designed for art events. Switch between artworks, track inventory in real-time, see sales as they happen, and manage your entire show—all from your phone.
Can Atelier.Gallery help me market new work?+
Yes. From a saved artwork, you can generate concise AI-assisted social post drafts for Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook. The drafts are meant to give you a strong starting point while keeping final editing and publishing in your hands.
