What is Atelier.Gallery?
Atelier.Gallery is an artist studio tool for visual artists. It combines a public portfolio, artwork workspace, QR checkout, POS-in-your-pocket workflows, and AI-assisted content drafts.
Isn't this the same as just using Instagram or Venmo?
No. Instagram and Venmo were not built for selling original artwork: there is no per-artwork checkout, no automatic sold-status tracking, no receipt, and no protection against selling the same piece to two buyers at once. Atelier.Gallery gives each artwork its own checkout page, locks it during purchase, and pays out through your own connected Stripe account with a proper transaction record.
Is the platform fee worth it compared to just doing it myself?
The fee covers a professional portfolio, per-artwork QR checkout, double-sale protection, automatic receipts, and sales tracking that would otherwise mean stitching together a website builder, a payment link, and a manual spreadsheet. For most artists, the time saved at a single event covers the fee many times over.
Can I use this at art fairs?
Yes. Show Mode is built for in-person events like fairs, open studios, and gallery nights.
How do collectors pay?
Collectors scan a QR code, review artwork details, and complete secure checkout from their own phone. The flow is designed to feel like a lightweight mobile point of sale without extra hardware.
Can Atelier.Gallery help me promote artwork?
Yes. Artists can generate AI-assisted social post drafts for Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook from saved artwork details. The drafts are meant to be reviewed, edited, and published by the artist.
Can it create video scripts?
Yes. The studio includes AI-assisted video script drafts for short-form artwork stories, studio updates, reels, shorts, and collector education.
Does Atelier.Gallery publish AI content automatically?
No. Social posts and video scripts are drafts only. Artists stay in control of editing, approval, recording, and publishing.
Where can I find the user guide?
After signing in, the guide is available from Settings. A dismissible floating guide button also appears on protected studio pages during a login session.
Can buyers receive receipts and certificates?
Yes. Atelier.Gallery supports buyer receipts, and certificate workflows are available for artists who want stronger post-sale documentation.
How do payouts work for artists?
Payments are processed through Stripe, and artists receive payouts to their connected Stripe account based on their Stripe payout settings.
Is this only for art fairs?
No. Artists can use Atelier.Gallery for open studios, gallery nights, direct collector outreach, and public portfolio sharing between events.
What does setup involve?
Typical setup includes creating your artist profile, adding artwork details, connecting Stripe, and preparing QR-based buyer flows before an event.
When should I use the free plan versus Pro?
